TV Help please

My mother has a 4 or 5 year old SONY Bravia Hi Def TV which is NOT "SMART" aka No WiFi.

She would like to be able to watch Netflix.

What box or add in do I need, the Google dongle, Android TV, etc??

Whatever it is must be very, very simple to use, she is 91 years old.

Bob the only way I can think of would be a Blu-ray Player.

Like some televisions, many Blu-ray players are now "smart," offering access to streaming services. A few video streaming apps, like Netflix, may come preloaded. Others you may have to download and install. If you already have one of these smart
Blu-ray players, you may not need an additional streaming device.
That's what I'm using on my 10 year old vizio.Good luck.

Thanks for the advice I'm going to let her try the Amazon Fire Stick first.

As an aside, the picture of the Amazon Fire Stick with its very simple remote reminded me of multiple attempts to show family members how to use a new gizmo or PC program.

I've often screamed internally, "Just push a button and see what happens, the XXXXing thing isn't going to blow up."

It must be an age problem. Give the same gizmo to a kid and he or she will push every button or tap every app until they figure it out.

Probably know this...

Xfinity has apps for both Netflix and Amazon Prime that make all the extra stuff fairly obsolete.

Friend of mine just got an Xfinity package that INCLUDES Netflix and has a two year price guarantee!
