2015 NFL Thread

OK, ball is in the air tonight. This game and the 8:30 start doesn't really interest me. I'll probably just watch the 1st quarter. For the NY fans I think the Giants are too injured and too undermanned to make a run this year, but if the Jets had the Giants QB they would go to the division championship game and might win it. With no QB, no shot.

28-21 Pat's!

Lebron lost the NBA championship.
NFC & AFC east play each other.
Those 2 things have only happened twice in the same year.
Do you know what happened the following February?:D

what? ice and snow?

Is hell endothermic or exothermic?

No idea where this originated from. All previous forward headers had been removed before it got to me. Sorry if it's copyrighted, but..... Physics of Hell
A true story. A thermodynamics professor had written a take home exam for his graduate students. It had one question:
"Is hell exothermic or endothermic? Support your answer with a proof."
Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law or some variant. One student, however wrote the following:
First, we postulate that if souls exist, then they must have some mass.
If they do, then a mole of souls can also have a mass. So, at what rate are souls moving into hell and at what rate are souls leaving? I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving.
As for souls entering hell, lets look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Some of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to hell. Since, there are more than one of these religions and people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all people and all souls go to hell.
With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in hell to increase exponentially.
Now, we look at the rate of change in volume in hell. Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in hell to stay the same, the ratio of the mass of souls and volume needs to stay constant.
So, if hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter hell, then the temperature and pressure in hell will increase until all hell breaks loose.
Of course, if hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in hell, than the temperature and pressure will drop until hell freezes over.
It was not revealed what grade the student got.

I'm guessing Giants win SB.

Hell will (as shown it could) freeze over before the Giants win the SB

I have to look at the schedule again, but they will not have a winning season.

Only game I watched was Broncos - Ravens. Anybody have a comment on the interception play at the end?

IMO Flacco shouldn't have thrown that was up in the air way too long, that kind of pass has to go to the corner middle of the field bad things happen.

Horrible time management on the Giants final drive but alls still good they started 2007 & 2011 with a loss as well. Learn & move on. L'shanah tovah & now off to cry myself to sleep.

...and two dropped passes that could've sealed the deal.

I believe when your opening game is against Dallas, and in my opinion Dallas wasn't at the top of "their" game, and you loose with a pass play which should have been on the ground, it says something about your up coming year.

They also were called on a phantom pass interference in the end zone... the Dallas effect

But, yes, last night was very telling, spells trouble for the rest of the year AND it will be Tom C's let year as head coach
