Shore based Bluefin action heating up!

So this guy was fishing the rocks in SJ when this happened. The thing apparently jumped and landed on the jetty. Is this a legal fish?

I'd say, if he was not actively fishing for tuna, he just found it on the beach!

Legal!

Same as finding a case of Bumblebee washed up on the shore!

I wonder what the fish was escaping that it jumped up on the rocks!?

I think they're not used to jumping in an area where they *have* to watch out for rocks :)

They had apparently cornered bait, and some of the practice is to come shooting up from underneath to grab a mouthful.

Surprise!

Ye. He was either chasing or being chased at HIGH SPEED. Then suddenly, there's a wall of jagged rocks in front of him!

No time to put on the breaks. JUMP! O sh!T$
