Capt. James Schneider: Capt. Jim has been fishing LI Sound his entire life and his knowledge of local waters is unsurpassed. Commercial fishing and captaining party boats for 30 years, when it comes to innovating new techniques and adjusting to different species, Captain James has the skill set to adapt and has done so successfully. Countless numbers of fluke over 10 pounds with the largest 15-1/4 pounds, his blackfishing and anchoring skills are second to none. Never hesitate to ask the Captain for advice he is always willing to teach, especially kids.
Capt. Roger Gendron: Captain Roger Gendron of CT has been actively guiding the waters of Western Long Island Sound since 1989. A local who has spent his entire life in this area, he started fly fishing the coast of Fairfield County Connecticut over 30 years ago, and was one of the first guides in the area to specialize in fly fishing and light tackle fishing in shallow salt water for striped bass and bluefish.
Captain Joe Shastay: A new addition to the NY Boat Show, Capt. Joe of NJ has been fishing the East River and Upper New York Harbor as a charter captain over 30 years. With Joes knowledge of the harbor waters, you'll have a great opportunity to land the "big one" after attending his lectures. The areas Joe fishes read like a sightseer's handbook: The Statue of Liberty, United Nations Building, the Brooklyn Bridge, South Street Seaport and Ellis Island are all within a cast length with Joes fishing waters and all hold quality bass and bluefish.
