I'm not a huge manmade climate change advocate, but climate change is a given, manmade or not.

And history proves that cycles over time are normal, warming/cooling/whatever.

Regional (such as North American) patterns are cyclical regardless of overall global warming/cooling and once a long term pattern is set, seems to hang in there for a while.

Unfortunately, we've been in this wild swinging pattern for a few years that has really impacted things. Last couple of March's, specifically last year, have been brutal. And we are heading into this March the same way.
