Thousands of fish? Dead around the pier? When was that? Is it anymore heartless for guys to load up their cooler if your so concerned about the fish stocks? The ones that are getting tossed back are shorts(the hardiest), what about the 1000's of fish that are kept and killed that are the breeders? On any given weekend I bet the number of fished killed in coolers is far far greater than the number killed by faulty release. You don't promote pure C&R fishing , but you are for the preservation of the species?
