Default best rod pairing for Saragosa 6000

Gentleman,
Newbie here looking for your thoughts and ideas on a great casting reel for my new Saragosa 6000SW...will be putting on 30# braid on it and will be tossing bait and plugs and poppers. Not many surf fishing guys out here on the west coast!
Thanks in advance.

For me and the east coast, I would toss it on a nice 9'-9.5' med action rod of which there are MANY great choices. weighing in at 16ozs it should balance.

I have a Spheros 6000 SW ( might be a little heavier than the Saragosa ) w/ a Okuma Ceros Surf CSX 10' 2 piece what got me was the Okuma guides , very nice rod , I've taken some good SB in the 30" + range , Albies, & Blufish . lets say I beat the crap out of them so it gets tossed in the truck , rash , I don't care its under 200 $ , Hope this helps , Go to a show or demo & test some rods out take the real w/ you , most places are happy to , very hard to buy over the internet & get a feel. I would not buy a pair of shoes unless I tried them on 1st rod same way . tight lines

FYI I don't toss bait
