Default Truck bed corrosion

How do you guys keep the corrosion out from the truck of the bed? Sea water got mine a bit corroded. Any recommended truck accessories? Appreciate it if anyone can point me to existing threads about it? By the way, is it good to put drop-in liner to their truck bed?

I'm assuming you don't have a truck cap . How much corrosion do you have ?
Herculiner is a great product for smaller products but repair the corrosion 1st . fiberglass or sheet metal w/ rivets . Then there is a bed liner you can install your self .

I had thought the factory blow in liner (think it's "sprayed" or applied somehow direct) was the best. Haven't taken a truck, but know that washing after every trip is important for everything on the vehicle. Some guys leave an oscillating sprinkler in their driveway and just run it when home

I did have a drop in liner in my 8ft bed Ford years ago, and it was good...saved the normal scratches and dings from hauling things.

Like stated above rinse off and under when getting home. Instead of a drop-in liner consider a spray in. Sand and water can get trapped between the bed and drop-in liner and speed up the corrosion. YOu can also just get one of those thick rubber mats to protect the floor at least with them easy to take out rinse off and dry.

When I bought my new Silverado in 2003, the dealer had the local LINEX shop spray in a liner for me. Best money I ever spent. I have hauled all sorts of stuff in there from furniture to rocks and it is still in great shape. It is a little rough on the knees if you crawl into it, but that also keeps things from sliding around in it. I also have a sprinkler in my driveway most of the time that I clean off the bottom of the truck by driving slowly over the sprinkler and back...then take it around the block to spin dry it
