Default Atlantic City

I may have to drive my daughter to Atlantic City around Christmas. Any recommendations where to stop and fish on the way back? Any good fishing spots around Atlantic City?

The north end of Atlantic City has a series of jettys at the inlet. Just take Atlantic Ave. to the very end and you'll run into them. There's parking next to the Flag Ship Hotel. Take your Korkers and I would keep it to daytime fishing.

Brigantine is good as well. There is an old bar out there right near the water. (a tavern not a sand bar) I would probably try fishing the areas around that establishment. Al McReynolds once said the next world record could very well come from that area.

Wasn't the world record caught off the inlet in Atlantic City. The bar is called the Rod and Reel Tavern.
