Default Looking for a 12 footer

Having a little trouble getting over a bar with my 10 footer. Looking to buy a 12 footer. Any suggestions?

Depends on price.. I use a 10' salt striker from cabelas put they also make it in a 12' 2pc also. Love the rod, great action and feel....

While I do exclusively use and recommend a 12' clam rod, Doughboy, the bass are feeding behind the bar!!! If you're casting over the bar, right now, you don't have the clam where the fish are looking for clam. Now if you're pluggin', sure it might be productive to get an Ava out there, but still metals\teasers, BT's\teasers, and flies will produce being dragged off the beach side of the bar. I've caught more keepers in the churnin' wash at my feet than anywhere around the bar this fall.

Just my $.02.
Work the churnin' white water, that's where the easy meals are.
Save the money and wait for deals.

There are several great 12' Lami's but depends on what your doing, plugging or bait fishing. My personal favorite is a Hatteras-weight rod that easily throws 16 oz as far as your shoulder will allow. Others are designed to launch considerably less weight / big plugs.
