Rickman here. Another newbie signing in. Been reading the great advice and info on this site for a few months and decided to become one of you. Hope to make a useful post occassionally. Fishing ain't easy but it sure beats work.

Since I caught my first striper in the surf a couple of years ago I'm as they say "HOOKED". I pretty much fish from The Hook to Belmar. I do take the occasional fluke trip and always carry the portable when I travel. Thanks for all the welcomes.

Maybe there's something aobout the air up here, get that nice NNW breeze from the oil refineries. Luckily it doesn't overpower a couple of dozen fresh clams.
