Spent another wonderful weekend down your way..we ended up staying right in Salisbury area since we were camping. Caught some nice fish off the beach and enjoyed the beautiful sunrises. I even saw a striper in the waves with the sun shining through! SO COOL! Thanks for all the advise.

You are welcome and I am so glad you had a good time and good weather.

You just can't beat those sunrises huh?

Okay... So I am going to try Plum Island again Sunday night. I cannot get out there until 10:30 PM or so.

Where do I go/park. I do not know the area, but last time I took the right after crossing the bridge and quickly got to a gate that was closed.

I ended up fishing right infront of Surfland, but there was nothing going on.

Any Suggestions? Also any bait suggestions, I don't think I will be able to get works at 10:30.

Thank you,
Casey

That is a pretty good stretch of beach by Surfland.
I always use worms but I suppose you can try clams
or macs, even herring if you have nowhere to get worms before hand.
I haven't fished up by Surfland since early spring.
Your guess is as good as mine. Last week all I got was hundreds of the tiniest fish you ever saw. I quit fishing after a while.
