I'm no pro but if that wind is going the right way which I believe is directly in your face the fish are never more then 10/15 yards off beach , the bass I caught last night hit the plug a rod length away and hit it w some force they see it but can't stare at it , it's been a sure bet for me . I wasn't talking about distance. Just maintaining a feel. Over 20 in the face creates a nice bow in the line, along with 8ft swells
I tried throwing a 4, then a 6 ounce ava in similar conditions and it would be beached before I got the line in.
I think the wind the past week has been less than 20mph
