yup as mentioned I fished all the way on the right of that picture. Caught a mess of blues from 2-6lbs, a few trout, fluke, and at night some very nice sharks. It was good action all day as long as you used bait. Didnt get a lot using bucktails and gulp

Re: 2012 Surf Picture Thread!
Great shots Blaze.
BTW you guys here anything about albies PLEASE shoot me a PM.
I am planning/hoping to do 1 or 2 sunrise expeditions up there with a fly rod, IF there is a reasonable shot at albies.

OLC where were you at in OBX last week I was in Hatteras Village. Was great down there. Didn't fish much but did a little snorkling and saw bunches of sea mullet.

Re: 2012 Surf Picture Thread!
Not familiar with Sandy Hook, but never thought, like in the first picture, there was any elevation there. Thought it was like IBSP flat for the most part. Great pics

Re: 2012 Surf Picture Thread!
Joe,
That's Atlantic Highlands you see across the bay from Sandy Hook.
"Atlantic Highlands contains the highest point on the eastern seaboard south of Maine. [14]"

Re: 2012 Surf Picture Thread!

Yesterday at the hook. But, don't get to excited, they were only 4" snappers .I never seen a snapper blitz like this before, it lasted 3 hrs. Them and the birds put on a good show. With visions of the big girls showing up in a month or so, i got a little excited
