I have an Ambient weather station setup, unfortunately it's a bit too old and unreliable at the moment, but will probably put up a new one in the next couple of months.

With the NOAA images and local realtime weather, all I need to round out the station is a camera like Jess's

The east coast of Florida felt the effects of Leslie. Big swells and dirty surf. Third year in a row I attempted to get in on the October Florida mullet run with no luck. Surf was seaweed central.

OK Mike is going to give a spanking to the gulf coast, then drag tropical weather up here later this week.

Rough surf, potential for other impacts but the track is not set.

don't trust *any* non-cultivated mushrooms.

no way to smell or see if a mushroom is "good to eat".

forget the psycho effects... talking about terminal effects

Tampa/St. Pete area wind and some occasional heavy rain. For the most part looks like we dodged another one. Hopefully the panhandle are pulls through ok.
