Default Tsunami Airwave Elite

Hi, All. I just bought a 11' Airwave elite surf rod, rated at 20 to 40 lb line, lure rate 1 1/2 to 4 1/2 oz. I have rods for heaver baits. Would this rod be good for soaking bait, Mullet rigs and top and bottom Blue fish rigs. I love the rod. Also I'll be using Mono, I don't like braid. Thanks. Tight lines.

You can on flat days if you talking about the surf.
Being only rated to 4 1/2 you can't use much lead.

Thanks Jess. That's what I figured, It will be used on the surf. I have a 11' 3 to 8 oz for bad days too. I figure it will be great for small blues a couple of lbs . With the fishing this year at DSSP and Assateauge Md. I only used two rods 1 to 3 oz and the 3 to 8 oz. Thanks again.

DSSP is Delaware seashore state park. I love the area. Then Fenwick Island, O.C. then A.I. MD.
