Yes, I think Therese leads in the overall renditions of animal faces.

Salmonmeister: "Frank, As much as I like Sarah Palin, the young lady picturd here might get my vote first." She was younger. I think, looking at the shotgun, she was in her low 60s when that was taken.

What is it about women who hunt or fish that excites us so much? Even Sarah Palin is a knock out, more because she is out there baggin and taggin.

The old college pumper sticker on the front of our car was getting pretty grungy and Therese suggested I paint a new one. So, here's my first shot at Bumper Art. It's a Bluefin Tuna in Acrylic on 6X12" aluminium

Beautiful work Bill. Did you have to over coat it with anything to withstand the rain, snow, mud, sand, etc., or is the Acrylic durable enough? I'm not much on paint dynamics.

Hopefully, I'll never have to worry about snow again but, I just finished putting 4 coats of clear acrylic on the plate to seal it. Actually, acrylic is a plastic and, each coat just builds up those underneath. With the painting plus four coats, the finish should be about 1/32 nd. inch thick. Now, I'll get a plate holder with clear plastic to further protect it.

Now, I'll have to try a couple other fish.

Bill

Nice pictures...as always...you guys! Pace yourselves with posting them on the internet...it's gonna be a long winter and I need to see fish a few times a week from now til spring. Don't make the fish TOO realistic...I might start casting 3oz lures at my monitor!
