Last night the Mets were loving, hugging , kissing, tearing w/ the Marlins , the Yanks, Jays were hitting batters , pushing & shoving tossed out Bomber coaches , what a night for baseball .

Rutgers football turned baseball Big East only Triple Crown Pat Kivlehan to the Reds . Will be opposite Cubs La Stella for the last team series. Both played HS St Joseph Regional same team .

I have to give a lot of credit to Collins and Alderson for getting that team to the WC.

No one would think that they would without Harvey, Wright, DeGrom, Matz, Walker and Duda.

True, and at the start of the season, it looked like a lock.

The Wild Card game will feature a marquee pitching matchup, as Mets ace Noah Syndergaard (14-9, 2.60 ERA) is slated to duel Giants left-hander Madison Bumgarner (15-9, 2.74). Syndergaard threw an extended bullpen session at Citizens Bank Park on Sunday in his final tuneup before the Wild Card game

I'll start if off , it was exactly what it was suppose to be .The out come was not what we wanted but a GREAT pitching game . What can you say ? Not DeGrome, Harvey nor Seaver can have done it better than Syndergaard did. Mets hitters did not adjust . They just did not play their scrappy approach they did the last few weeks , long cuts instead making contact a lot of 1st @ pitch fastballs by Bumgardner not really hitting the target but he lulled this team to sleep. Ok next year comes fast
