Around 65 boat trips this year. He will definitely join you and I hope to use the kayak more in 2018.

1/2 on Muskies today.

With all the 80# leaders and xl shiners we had out, both muskies hit the tip-ups with medium shiners on 20# leader??? lol

We landed this one around 32" and lost a bigger one at the hole :/

Thought you were coming to the gulf coast? Great decision though. Indian River, short drive to Sebastian inlet. I had a trip scheduled to that area the last 2 falls and was derailed by hurricanes The fall mullet runs are supposed to be epic. Might try again this October to make it there, I'll shoot you a PM if I do. Congrats

Ok I'm confused. LOL Bill is in Vero Beach FL east coast and Hook is on gulf coast? Is that correct? Hook where are you at on gulf coast? I thought you were still living up north.

A THOUGHT FOR TODAY:
Catch-and-release, that's like running down pedestrians in your car and then, when they get up and limp away, saying -- Off you go! That's fine. I just wanted to see if I could hit you. -Ellen DeGeneres, comedian, television host, and actress (b. 26 Jan 1958)

I thought I'd share this with you, my friends. It made me laugh a bit, but also, in a more serious light, reminded me that clipping barbs to minimize the real damage I'm doing is a good idea.
Note that it's Ms. D.'s birthday today.

Manny & I ended up with 1st & 2nd place in the "other" category on Saturday.

Ended the day with a 1# crappie, 1.4# catfish, couple LMB, pickerel & perch.

All fish released after weigh in.

Great time with great people.
