With a fresh delivered batch of Alchemist Heady Topper in my fridge it sure is.
Just uncovered my fig tree (Italian tradition) and it seems to have wintered over well. Baby tomatoe seedlings our out on the deck sun bathing and my koi fish are egar to eat. Spring has sprung, I just hope it stays.......

Fun day on the yak.

Fished from 6am to 11am and ended up with 18 bass away from the crowds in-between multiple Hobie mirage drive repairs!

The one fish absolutely inhaled the glider on the surface... highlight of my day

RG gliders, x-raps, bombers and EliasV shads all worked great today

I gave it a walk along the bay today for a few hours. I knew it was going to be windy but I didn't expect it to be so evil!
Hard wind in the face made casting most plugs beyond 25 feet impossible.
Got better distance with a bucktail and the 2 oz mag but no one wanted to play.
Saw a clam slinger set up with no luck either. Made a change a few miles away and it looked nastier. Asked the bait guys if anything was going on and the answer was no.
The good part was the rain didn't allow the sand to blow in my face.

Yep, trolling two rods at the same time looking for a new pod of fish when one went off I start reeling the other one in and then that one goes off as well. Doubles are always fun on the kayak

Sometimes I get a little greedy and pay for it...lost a decent fish Saturday while it was thrashing on the surface as I tried to clear the other rod. Drag just a little too tight and hook not up to the task.

Will be hitting RB later this week. Still quiet down south but am hoping for the yellow eye devils any time. Always a ball in the surf

I was picking away at some fish before all this wind and rain. Hope it didn't mess it up too much.

Thoughts?

Wind changing to W pretty quickly, sun out warming the water should be a good afternoon (at least that's what I'm hoping ). Save me a spot.

RB in the back last two hours of low tide brisk West wind. Water was a fading chocolate color. No action at all.
