Default Top water.

Top water. I really do not use a floating line in the surf or bays. This year I bought one for both my 7 weight and 9 weight. Gonna try another thing I never do, Poppers.
Any input or advice on there guys?

Always like the top water strikes when using poppers with spinning in the surf, it's got to be exciting with poppers on a fly rod.

Getting hits on top water is....

AWESOME

Any time there is surface activity, it's a go.

Make sure you vary retrieves, but generally the short, quick strip will get the popper to dig in and splash.

In general, bunker / peanuts == Poppers; Mullet could == sliders (though anything near the surface works);

Like I said, never mess around much with a floating line, looking forward to it.
