"I always fish it this way..." He landed a few fish without a problem but then he got this bigger one next to the boat that was easily in the 35-45# range and busted the leader when we tried to net it. He finally loosened it after losing that fish

Two chunking trips in a row with exactly 25 bass on each trip.
John, still bait around?

No shortage of bunker in the bay. Probably the most I have seen all year.

This bass looks like it was caught and released a couple too many times.

Sent him off with another hole in his mouth...curious to know exactly how many times he has been caught.

Moco Afternoon dead low tide. West wind waist high swell. The clearest, cleanest water of the year, possibly from a moon tide
Using casting gear and hammered spoon with pink clouser teaser with plastic eyes. Four short fluke and four sundials. Clear water enabled me to sight many striped ones cruising the trough with their heads down, I assume looking for sand bugs, which were present at the surfline. There were some calicos.

Took my 4 yr old out yesterday...I hooked up on something nice in the first 15 minutes and he and I fought the fish together....bending down to his level to let him reel I couldn't keep the rod tip high enough lol...the fish didnt make it to the sand but my kiddo got to feel the rod bend and the runs of probably a 5-6 lb blue...and hes got a story of the one that got away...

...and telling outlandish lies to all and sundry , not to mention getting deeply conflicted about the difference between "go to work" and "go fishing."

Moco Dawn patrol. Out front west wind flat water with texture and ankle high swell
Casting gear with the hammered spoon and plastic eyed, white and pink clouser.
One short flat one a dozen sundials and several large sea robins. It was low tide when I started. Left at 9am when the throngs began to arrive. Happy fathers day to all
