Re: Ibsp A-23
I know it only takes 2 to tango, but the announcement made it sort of seem like many "plovers" (even with the singular "chick" )
"The section of Island Beach State Park ocean beach approximately 3/4 mile north of the jetty which had been closed to Mobile Sport Fishing Vehicle traffic has been reopened. The closure was put in effect in late June to protect state endangered (federally threatened) piping plovers nesting on the beach. NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife staff, along with park staff and volunteers, appreciate the cooperation of those inconvenienced by the closure. The chick produced in the nest has successfully fledged."
guess they have a "leave no bird behind" policy...
You might be the first person to ever say that about me!!! Don't let anyone else know that, it'll ruin everyone else's perception that I'm a grouchy curmudgeon.
