eek 2017 Tropical Storm Thread

ok, well, I've had a real lousy year, fishing wise... due to a number of factors (yeah, ONE of these years I hope to swing the pendulum back the OTHER way, but...)

At any rate, the fun begins for any fishing patterns you think you know:

My first one was 8/24/09 after hurricane bill swung by the coast. I caught it on a eel punt swimmer, schoolbus color.

It's a Jack Cravelle, usually found in southern water. But when you get a storm traveling up the coast, it pulls the tropical water with it, and sometimes the local inhabitants. It fought like a bluefish on crack.

Doesn't affect us, but if you know someone in South Texas, pray for them.

Gonna be a total life-threatening flood down there, besides the wind and surge, biggest issue will be the 30" of rain in places. 15"+ widespread.

The stage is set, we got something coming up the coast the middle of the week, keep your deadly dick handy a few days after.

Yup, though not a direct hit, and a relatively mild unorganized system at this point, it is coming.
