Irma has a possibility / likelihood of hitting Hispanola, then bowling right into the mid-Atlantic.

Too much uncertainty to know where, but it's on the "watch closely" list of a few meteorologists now...

Rob,
How's it looking for Florida? Last year had a late sept trip to the east coast foiled by a hurricane. Is this going to be an annual occurrence?

Florida is still in play but for next weekend or so, end of Sept is too far away to tell

Seems hard to get info on Irma. Harvey is still getting all the coverage understandably.

You are probably tracking this already since the meteorologists are in full hype mode already ( probably GETTING pressured for ratings) but Irma is tracking to impact the US mainland somewhere and will be a major storm but not clear where

For Sept 10 the Euro run puts Irma off Florida, moving up the coast to NC, then coming our way.

It still could swing to the Gulf (unlikely) or out to sea (possible)

I guess its safe to say everyone in FL is going to have some effect from this. I like that out to sea scenario the best.
