We are locked up & secure ready ,in NY watching Irma , the eye will pass right over my roof , my neighbor went to New Hampshire and good fried went to Clemson SC . Some family are staying put . Millions don't want to leave . We can always rebuild as it was just completed in June. Glad I did not by that 24' Sea Pro a few weeks ago .

I'm assuming you're talking about a place in the Tampa area?

meanwhile, pretty sure Jose is going to stay a "fish storm" though I think many of the islands are going to get a bit battered again (!!) though not like the last time.

^^ on those words I'll hit the Catskills. Mountains are a pretty good place to go when it comes along the coast .

I have a good friend from MoCo who comes with me a few times a year , he really enjoys the change ,
Northern NJ is very good & some fine Brook Trout streams

now we get to see what Jose does to our beach structure; my hope is NO ONE sustains any damage but the storm helps to restore some of our cuts, bars and holes that the beach fill ruined...am I dreaming
