Snappers have gotten too big in the last two weeks

"....If they are too big than snapper strips.."

you strip them and use the strips as bait.

do not remember a year where the snapper numbers have been this high; down here they are absolutely everywhere in huge numbers; am hoping the bigger blues come in to feed on them but hasn't happened yet; at least the kids are having a ball

They love those Hells Bay flats boats down there! Sounds like fun on a 5w!

Moco RB in the back. Dawn patrol. Incoming tide two hours past dead low. NW wind and choppy brown water. I could see the peanuts 300 yards off shore being blown up from underneath. No flat ones or other gamefish caught.

Bill, I was down today at IBSP. There were spearing and snappers everywhere. Several boats were working the front end of the commotion and hooking up with 3 to 5l b blues by my estimation. I live lined a snapper and had a hook up and short run before the fish and I parted ways.

Blues were feeding a few yards from the burnt out pier in AH today around 1 P.M. Reachable from shore with metal.

Bill, They were in close. First the spearing were being chased by the snappers, then the snappers being chased by the cocktail blues. They were there again today, but there was a stronger NE wind, so not may boats or surf casters on them.
