The plovers are gone, the dredge hasn't been around, how bout a Government Shutdown in sept.

Jim, Shhhhh! Don't tell too many people about the stinging jelly fish. They may shut the hook down for public safty.

down here in Brig, the pipers have gone, but I'm hearing red knots have shown up.

THEN they are going to start "beach replenishment".

Let's get back to reports Fished the other day, only three small fluke for me, the bay was loaded with snappers on the outgoing, incoming tide brought in adult bunker. Tried snag and drop for awhile, no takers. I think I am done with fluke, time to be one of those guys just wondering along the beach looking for albies.

Contact might be Commanding Officer, USCG Station Sandy Hook,Highlands, NJ 07732.

If no response go up the chain of command. He probably reports to the C.O. of the station in Staten Island.

I would try a phone call first. Ask to speak to the C.O. and get his name and grade.
