Help yourselves, stop reporting any catch...and don't weigh in anything.

You'll lose half the internet report fishers.

PS. Anyone check the EEZ?

Nomoco 2 diff stops. It’s amazing how far I cannot cast when there is not a 20 knot wind blowing. No signs of life from 1-330 pm today.

reports today from various spots; the schoolies are there with a random 29-30in mixed in; I'm at it with a lighter rod and shads and smaller metals tomorrow; at least it's something...until Spring

Took advantage of a beautiful forecast on Friday and went out with another fellow-kayaker in western LI Sound...familiar surroundings but I cannot get tired of them... 6.30 am to 4 pm...long day because it was so dead in the morning...first trolled for some bass until I got to several spots where we were catching tog a week ago ...I could not buy a bite...it took me 3 hours to change my first crab on the hook!!!...terrible...it was very low tide so maybe that was the reason...tried shallow and deep..nothing helped .. contacted Roger on radio and went to him since at least he was getting some bites and catching shorts ...again I would get a bite here and there but could not connect...very slow...then all of sudden I marked some fish below me ...quickly changed to a rod with a jig and cast...boom...got a 24" bass...felt a little bit better...continued with togging but still fruitless...then decided to go around the island trolling a plastic tail on the jig.... after 5 minutes I got a hit in 15 ft of water...it felt big and it started pulling my kayak...fought for about 10 minutes and got a 32" - 18 lbs bass...it was hooked in the mouth and the teaser hooked his top fin...I thought I was pulling a whale...with at least one fish in the bag I did not give up on black fish...went to one of my 32ft deep spots with incoming tide and all of a sudden bites started...in 45 minutes had 5 shorts and nice 19" keeper...not bad...and if this was my last kayak fishing trip of the season it was a good one...

Very nice. Just bought a trolling motor for my kayak also can’t wait to get to use it.

Fished the shrewsbury from 11-2. Nada thing then went over to the ocean once the crowds thinned out and was there till 3. Saw nothing till we left when 1 bait guy had about 16 inches on clam Nice day out though

lots of schoolies all over Seaside area this a.m.; first light dead low tide; they were outside the bar so you had to throw a big metal to reach them; stopped about 9; heard it picked up in after noon; back at it tomorrow
