I thought you just turned a kayak over and walked away for a few months or brought it into the garage if you had space for it.
It will sleep in my garage thru the winter ...cleaned it up the with a soap, dried it throughout...still couple of adjustment to be done with the rudder etc etc...hope the 2018 season will start early...

Out to my honey hole this morning. 12 fish plus a lot of drops even though it wasn't as crazy as last week. A lot of smaller fish today. Again, short window between the end of dark till the sun comes up. Waiting for the outgoing at dawn

Same spot tonight. No need to leave. 8 fish this evening, all under 32"s. 4" yo-zuri crystal minnow was the ticket tonight. slow start while it was still light out. once the water came up a little it turned on-not epic. Bump, dropped 1, then a double header. Next cast another fish. I thought it would break wide open but it was more of a pretty steady pick. I still like the outgoing. Maybe back at it in the AM with Bill Wruble

Not much love in Striperville today. Only 2 fish. Bill Wruble had 1. The usual 1 to 2 hr bite lasted 10 minutes. New moon? Good seeing you as usual today Bill.

Do not follow...sorry
Anyways...went fishing in Monmouth County from 6.30am to 11.30am...balmy conditions...mid 40 to 50ies...no gloves needed ...caught 16 shorts...up to 20"...80 % on slug-go and 20% on the teaser...most action took place early in the morning...light west wind help casting distance which was not needed since all the fish was caught right in the wash...the most success I had when casting parallel to the beach along that 2ft drop in the sand where the waves break...

Mixed weekend, some more up & down togging on Saturday with a spree of bad luck. Tons and tons of short life but a lack of keepers for us...we did get a bonus 24" cod out of it.

Sunday did a little 50/50. Half tuna chasing and half togging. Got some quality tog but not enough of them. Found out there's still plenty of stripers around. lol
