Crazy fluctuations in the rb, keansburg is bounceing between 31 and 39 degrees, but if you go to the Arthur kill it?s 39-41 degrees, but if you dropped a lit match in the Arthur kill you could probably cook anything that was in there.

yeah, you had the snowpack up the raritan watershed that will tremendously impact the RB water temps for some time yet, based on tide.
My dad used to work at the old General Cable plant for many many years and used to actually eat the crabs he'd catch there out of the AK
(My own policy is to never knowingly eat crabs or shellfish caught within sight of NYC. Doesn't prevent all contamination but it's a safe general rule )

That about knocks out the bayshore and the Atlantic Highlands on a clear day!

yup


Did eat Shrewsbury/Navesink crabs from time to time, but most (by far) from way south of there. The south jersey crabs (below Barnegat) taste better to me, albeit probably as much psychological as anything
