A few hours checking a few places around Toms River this afternoon...no joy.
Found some nice new spots for myself that I will remember.
The wind also played it's regular game of ignoring the forecast: what was supposed to be W at about 5 turned into NE or even ENE at 10 to 15, steady. The water was nice and clear, though.
I'm wondering about how folks on the RB did.

My official first night on the sand, not too shabby, four shorts drowning worms Then some of the Killer B?s show up and instantly started catching on plugs That?s when I retired the worms and started with a white magdarter, good choice one short, and a nice 32-34 incher. I know I?ll be hearing You Shoulda Stayed

Up in the Killer B's neighborhood for the incoming last evening, nice of the 300 worm tossers to leave me 20' of space to plug
3 shorts and a few other hook ups.

Well, just getting over bronchitis I didn?t want to overexert myself catching all those big fish. I have a Canada trip the end of the month I have to be healthy.

Tried to duplicate what my brother B's did last night. Horrible. 20 in your face with light driving rain made it impossible to throw anything. tried for an hour but when I couldn't light my cigar I knew it was over. Not a tap. It was Bayyakers cup of tea but not mine. If I would have even had at least a bump I would have stayed. Tomorrow is another day.
