Ummm,
Maybe because I dont know which will serve my fishing needs?

Forgive my lame attempt at humor, but I have used the StriperSurf rigs exclusively for several years.I get yelled at by Bob about not changing them often enough(maybe he is trying to generate sales, but probably trying to keep me from losing my trophy fish...)I use them till they fall apart, which has never happened,or my son notices that I am using the same rig I used the last time we fished together... I change it,and forlornly, cut the swivels and snaps to use another day.One thing I have noticed,is the use of hi tech snaps and swivels, along with other innovations, such as the braid proof slide on the fishfinder.(Sorry Bob,still havent used the fishfinder yet).
For those of you who have never tried them,do so! They are all tied by Bob(he tried to get his wife to help him,and she said it was too tedious ),and I think he puts a little "striper mojo" on each one.
Now,I'm not going to say that these rigs will cause you to get your dream striper(and dont think Bob will either),but,if you do hook up with it,you wont have to worry about the rig failing, only your knots or snaps(which sadly has happened to me...)
Well worth the cost, and instead of using the money he gets from the sales for a retirement fund, the money generated is put back into this site, which is good for all of us reading it!

Thumbs up Re: Bait Rigs - An Important Question

Best rigs you can get - bar none. Fished (well, threw out bait) for a couple of years before fishing with these. I can't say they made me better at reading the beach or finding fish; the rest of this site educated me on that, and the fact that the sales of these goes back into the site alone warrants my continued support as a thank you for all I have learned here. But I can say that once I found the fish, I've never lost one. I've tried tying my own, but they've been embarrasing things to behold - and they just don't catch fish the same way these rigs do.

BobD, you've got mail.

I've been using them for the past couple years and I LOVE THEM. I just got four more a couple months ago and now that I think of it.. Maybe I'll order some more tonight

Just a note: Before Bob's rigs I used some of the garbage you can buy in stores which have FAILED. I've never had a breakoff on these rigs.

This rig is magic for me. Every significant clam striper I ever caught was on one of Bob's rigs.
I have had folks say you get them cheaper. Heck, I know how to tie each one of the knots in the dark to put it together myself.

But what I like best about these rigs is that they support my favorite fishing website, and I was raised to take care of what you love. And like rags said when you pull a rig out of it package, you know whatever you may encounter fishing that day, terminal tackle and knots problems wont be it.

Pick a few up, put more fish on the sand and support the site.

See you at the bash.

I use them all the time but still haven't figured out how to keep them dam Blue fish off them.

Of course Blue fish are Bob's buddies
The more they chomp, the more we have to buy.

I smear "essence of mullet" on your rigs Jess. Blitzboy rigs get smeared with "essence of terrified big Bunker."

There is also "Sea Robin attractant" which Ragman prefers.
