I will also be in Wellfleet the last week of June, and I too need some advice. My first trip to Cape Code and I would like to catch one

Email me if you want.

Thanks,

Sam

FYI billingsgate has been very productive during the past few evenings. I think the warm weather got the bait up.

Let me suggest a very important book.
Fishing New England - a Cape Cope Shore Guide
You can find it at www.onthewater.com

I'll be traveling to the cape too, next week. Good luck, bros.

The fishing New England book is good. The most helpfull thing about it is it tells you where to park...(legally)and the Cape can be hell this time of year. I can almost gaurantee you will catch.......good luck. Use the many baitshops to your advantage.....just don't tell them you are a Yankees Fan....

Thanks! I'm no Yankees fan, my hometown team is the Baltimore O's. We have no love of the Yanks. Still holding a grudge from the ALCS a few years back.

Itz funny. I was at Belmont last week with a bunch of Red Sox fans, and everyone was entirely gracious to them - sharing umbrellas when it started to rain and a cold beer when the sun came out...but then again we are New Yorkers, that's what we do. Perhaps with all those pennants and world championships, we can afford to be gracious.

There's no way for me to hide the fact that I am a New Yorker - when I open my mouth the jig is up. Last year, when I was on the Cape, someone rear-ended me at a traffic light, screamed "Yankees Suck" and sped off. There was no Yankees sticker on the car, just NY plates. Funny thing is I'm a Mets fan -although that incident and Pedro's beat down on Don Zimmer changed my mind.

Thankfully, the fish won't be able to recognize my accent or my liscence plate.

I hold nothing against Yankees Fans.....
As long as you give your hot fishing spot up and the most prized plug in your tackle box.

Speaking of Wellfleet has any one every fished the Herring River bridge? I have a relative that lives on the top of the bluff there and haven't had the chance to wet a line. Just wondering if there are fish to be had there.
