How many out there plan to try saltwater flyfishing for the first time this upcoming season?

Not talking about giving up other methods, just trying it.

Have you always used conventional or spin?

Flyfish but never in salt?

I started flyfishing in fresh water a couple of years ago. I like it. I use saltwater flies as teasers and found them to be effective. I am also becoming interested in Kayak fishing. I might have to try the yak.

I'm afrid my fly rod has lots of miles on it but not much use. Now i'm in FL for the winter and I promised my self I would get profishent with it. (my spelling shows my meaning) So today I got out on the dock and look what happened. Thats a Gurgler bearly showing out of its mouth. I know it's no monster, but you should of seen those teeth.

Technically I started last year, but I only went twice and caught nothing. Can I start fresh this year and vote #1?

Yes it was a cuda but it was only about 16 inches long. It hit like a blue, doing more damage to my fly than the typical blue. When I went to grab it I was more careful than with blues.
