I would appreciate a little help/advice on trying to combine a trip for the cub scouts to the USS Mass. battleship ( Little Falls ? ) with a little fishing (striped bass).

My son and I are traveling from NJ for an overnight on the USS Mass. on the weekend of Oct. 20.... Is this in close proximity to some good fishing beaches and where, during this time of year.

Peter, my son, will have a surfcasting outfit and I will be using a 10wt fly rod....

Any help would be appreciated and tight lines to all....

I think you mean Fall River MA. You could try the Brayton power plant on the Taunton river
