Default Neponset River

New to Massachusetts. I was wondering how the striper fishing is in the Neponset river? Do any of these spots produce better? Victory Park, Pope John Paul park? Squantum Point Park? Granite Ave? Wollaston Beach?

When might they run best in the Spring? Suggested lures or bait?

What else runs in there?

Thanks for any guidance.

Default Re: Neponset River

Wollaston might be a good bet these days. stripers seem to be moving off the estuaries and rivers/marshes onto beachfronts. Chunks of mack will do, as well as eels. try throwing minnow lures if your into lures. bombers, redfins, daiwa sp's and the like can all produce. good luck
