Hook today; early morning had bass busting the surface from 10ft in the wash to 100 ft out; hooked 8 and landed 5 on small metals;all were 23-27in and fat and feisty; also a 6-7 lb blue; quiet until afternoon; tons of bait and birds but mostly with no fish; about 1:30 albies began their quick hit shows and leave and return; I left at 3:30 and saw about 35-40 caught in quick blitzes; most important was at the end of the day I got my first ever on a blue deadly dick; plus about 5 shad; a ton of bait everywhere; a big day or me

Fantastic...sounds like epic days of yesteryear for me. Stable weather, at the right time, seems to be yielding the hoped for results. Congrats!

That's what I've heard from other sources along the coast that a lot of the blitzes are mid morning

Thanks to all; conditions were a little tough with wind 25+ and gusting above that; but sunny with fish and good company

Please folks, write down the conditions we've had for the last week in your log.

10-25+ from the NW-W, Oct, cool to cold nights... outgoing morning tides...

Sounds classic... now if the adult bunker cooperate in a few weeks you will really see some binocular seagull crowds.

Moco Mid afternoon to 6pm west wind, almost no swell and little current, with gin clear water. On the fly caught one striped one at 22 inches on a pink and white clouser minnow. Great fun! Went into a dry spell working a long stretch of beach, until a cloud of rain fish swam by and all He (double hockey sticks) broke loose, with several large striped ones attacking the rain fish. I beat the water with my fly line trying to catch one and during the melee I caught four large fluke that were released quickly. A huge seal then strolled in to investigate the commotion and add to the mess as all then went quiet.... A good time was had by all. There were a few of Bayakers' gang, scurrying around and they seemed confused, after all it was Friday night and no sign of him yet!

I stayed away, for good reason. three keeps, 2 on the red/white magdarter 1 on a blurple sp, 30?, 32?, and 35? 7 shorts, 3 on a teaser, 4 on the red/white magdarter, with a doubler in the mix.
