got a good local report from a reliable source; mullet present and so are bass in 18-26+size; blues smaller than north but worth a try; staying close to home and will report in

Good Luck Bill.
Had truth reports today from Ocean County bass up to 30 inches but mostly 20-24 in size. Lot of millet around but Albies were non existent.

NO MOCO yesterday around 4pm for about 90 minutes bait being chased but the water is still very warm Nothing caught but good to get back out there.

I think it was just the snappers

It looks like I will get a shot at the Barnegat Inlet via my buddy's boat Friday morning. Solunar tables look like very low energy feeding activity, but hey!, fish can't read!

Luck to all!

Nah... we've chickened out. I might be able to get to take a walk out to the Hook to inspect the progress of the falling tide, if it isn't too entirely ugly. Rainy and NNW winds 9 to 13 mph.

Good day to chicken out....all I had to show for a few hours of fishing was seaweed Salad for dinner tonight! Actually it is our annual night out at the Sea Grill in Avalon...not a totally wasted deay ;-)

Yes, but the 15 from the south is just plain painful when the current is ripping from the north.
