BTW We( bad choice of words but I'm sure we are paying for it) have gone High Tech to protect the plovers. The netting laced over the nesting sites are now outfitted with electrical fence at just the right height for a plover to get under. The unit is also equipped with video and powered by rechargeable battery with solar booster.

Jim, Great pictures, Those seals have heard about your generosity!

Out back in Monmouth this morning. Caught the top incoming and the turn around. Deader than Kelsey's nuts. Not a touch on the SP. Not a touch on the popper. Switched over to bucktail and teaser looking for flat fish on the bottom. Not a bump.

Occasional swirling fish on top, chasing some really small bait fish.

FYI: Parkway South is looking pretty ugly already.

Moco 3p-5p Incoming tide. As high a surf as you would expect before being called a N'Easter. Took a dozen casts. There was more white water than anything else. Switched to the back at tw spots with no luck. Strong East wind.

There have been some nice bass hanging at the rocks on both sides of the AC inlet for those who have been able to put in time. These are not resident so would guess they would be moving north soon.
