Start with what device you normally use to post, and see if there is a way to change your input character set. Or perhaps there might be a different editor setting on this board. On my phone right now and not home. I’ll try to remember to check later or tomorrow.

Any possibility it's related to the attack of the kamikaze jellyfish and the aftertreatment? Just saying

The real Italian festival. 104 years and still running for a reason. Come check it out, I'm cooking the sausage peppers & onions.

A 90 year family tradition!

Fished the same King of the Creek tournament as Bayyaker on Saturday.

For the first time in three years we didn't finish in the money on this tournament.

Our biggest fluke went 7.3#, with top three coming in at 16.3#.

We had 20 keepers on a long day of fishing; only keeping our four man limit of 12.

Crappy picture after being really tired.

NJ Dave, the feast of St. Joseph is March 19th I thought... my daughter Josie's birthday is how I remember it.
I hope your festival goes great with reasonable weather.

St. JOSEPH'S day is March 19 th however the saint Jospehs Church feast is annually held on labor day weekend.

It may be a little rain bit that has never stopped us.

I've been to Lodi many times as a cross country runner and wrestler in high school. My high school, Ramapo, was in the North Bergen Interscholastic League. As I recall my team ran pretty well but our wrestlers got roughed up.
Now I live on the wrong side of Valley Forge, but will be there in spirit.

I got out in a boat and harassed the short fluke and skate a mile or two outside the Barnegat Inlet yesterday. It was a good exercise to get ready for the coming fall excitement, I hope.

One interesting thing was the bunker we saw on the way in when the wind was down. There were acres of them. We stopped the boat and drifted into a school which was so dense it seemed I could walk on them. There was no blue or striper predation going on that I could see, but I watched some big brown fish, maybe 35 or 40 inches, swimming along with one school. I decided it was a cobia.

If I had the inclination to do it I could have dropped a cast net on 100 pounds of bait with one throw.

Definitely Cobia, Elias has been nagging me for years to target them here. I saw one in North Jersey messing with one of the bunker pods around us while we were fluking Sunday but wasn't prepared.
