Rough surf and rip currents? Maybe I'll check the bay out later in the week...

The first was August 24 of 09 the second was September 14 of 2016 both after a southern storm that moved up the coast, ironically both fish were caught about 1000 yards apart.

Don?t wade in the water, I heard there?s a influx of Portuguese man of war around, I got stung last year, only enough pee in me to put the fire out in one leg. Didn?t have the nerve to ask another fisherman to give me a golden shower.😫 Maybe if I was fishing gunnison, there would have been a line😘

LOL... ammonia will work as well... if you have a drive home, then a stop at a CVS wouldn't be bad.

That, or drink more water. Ouch

So, rip currents and swells start in SJ today and should build over the next couple of days.

Beryl is still swirling around but will remain out to sea, perhaps though have some influence over our surf once Chris is history.

I call it global warming

Think they've been working flounder in the surf or back, perhaps also small blues in the inlet, might even be some tog or triggers at the rocks. Down here they go for triggers and sheepshead.

I've been away and busy with grandkids so wasn't following the weather other than to know we've been stuck inside 2 systems which have been pumping southern air up the eastern seaboard, giving us the tropical weather.
