I think a visit to a good Army Navy store should solve the problem

Paul, thank you for the heavier sinker, that tide was ripping and I needed more lead to hold bottom. 132 shorts in 4 outings, they gotta start getting bigger
Wow
What tide were you fishing
Thanks

Really late report
First trip to SH in a month fished furst half of incoming tide
Few shorts and my first nj keeper from shore in about 5 years at 19?. Caught on top half of gulp mantis shrimp (looks like a sand crab/mole crab)

Water was gin clear as paul likes to say. Unbelievable amount of bait in the water

That was the outgoing tide, but what a difference a day makes. Yesterday me and billy (black cloud) were out, I think we both had 5 each. Sore mouths from earlier in the week, south wind My dropper loop was 3 inches to long. Bill is going to say it?s because he is a black cloud

Great job FPOS! I'm hoping the change in the dew point, humidity, and cold front gets things moving.

Long time without post. Haven't fished a lot locally but went way north last week for some wetsuit, bolder field fishing. Not a lot of big fish (managed a few 12-15# and one at 26#) but there was a ton of 20-27" fish. Let's hope they stay inshore this fall.

Last night locally, one cocktail blue. Lots of bait around.

Couldn’t get any snappers to bite at height tide out front in SoMoCo on a trout rod with 1/4 oz kastmaster looking for the sunset bait and switch so switched to a bone sp Minnie on the perfect 7 ft 5/8-1 oz rod paired with a 4500 spinfisher and hit 3 striped ones right after the sun went down up to 25 inches.

Moco 6P-8p Outfront Flood tide East wind with a chest high swell, and a choppy strong current. Threw the hammered spoon and teaser catching half a dozen short fluke and a large sea robin Plentiful swim bait that appeared to be peanuts that were being chased into the sandbar. I switched to a wind cheater 24 inches behind a 1/2 since sinker, but had no takers. At least three juvenile delinquents were enjoying a stretch of sand usually frequented by the Killer B's!

BT. Pretty slow. Been very involved with selling house in Pa and moving stuff here so have not been out a lot but reports are slow. Lots of snappers everywhere but it’s September and can change any day

I know this is late, but I've been traveling a lot for work. I used ice hockey skate laces (the waxed variety) when I needed boot laces. They hold up really well and are only a couple of bucks at the local sporting goods stores.
