Moco Outfront in the afternoon to sunset. Outgoing tide with a WNW wind with knee to waist high clean swell and flat texture. The moon and the stars were aligned
as the thunderstorms cleared the swimming beaches opening up a nice hole, I don't usually get to fish during the swimming season.
I was using light casting gear with a hammered spoon and pink clouser with plastic eyes. I caught several large sea robins, a stargazer, 15 short fluke, with one at 19" I switched to a banana bucktail and the action continued but mostly still on clouser teaser. As the sun dropped I switched out to the mag darter and teaser. I caught 5 short striped ones, that took the teaser and not the mag darter
As I was letting one go I felt I was being watched.... and I was!
I included a photo of what a nice hole on a beautiful evening outfront looks like to me.
