Kayak question: my targets here are snook and reds primarily plus the smaller stuff like trout and sheepshead but my question for the bigger fish is do you guys use a collapsing landing net? or are you comfortable lifting a nice fish over the side?

Bill, I'd say 90% of my fish swing and lift, if it's a decent-sized I give a little help with my foot. naturally with the exception of bass or blue fish I do my best with them both side.
Careful Snook trout ans sheeps aside from their teeth have some nasty spines.
I do have a small folding net that I keep in the hatch for those times when you may want to make sure your catch is in the boat

I use an EGO S1 Genesis small rubber net that I stick in a rear rod holder. I like it because of the non tangle rubber net and it floats. (Just in case you go for an involuntary swim.)
