Angry Fishing Lisense

Just got back from OBX and was suprised to learn I needed a lisense. Not happy
about that.

Thanks for the tip?This is nothing more than a fishing tax IMHO? Where is this money really going? How successful are surf fisherman really ?? ..Do they need a licence tax like this after all the money we spend on lodging, meals, and gas. The high price of gas and now this ?I informing my buddies and their families and going elsewhere.

Does anybody know how to get a liscense? I'm heading down to Nags Head area next Saturday for a week and would like to do some surf fishin?? Any help would be great..

Most of the tackle shops sell them 15 buck for a year non resident last time I bought mine.....three years ago.....they have a one week tourist also
NC fish and game site has an on line set up also

Most B & T shops can help you out (T&W is very close to Nags Head). I vacation there one week a year and for the last 2 years I've had to buy one, this year will be number three. I believe the license was $10. for 10 days. If you pick up a guide or a charter, then their license will cover you. Same thing on the head boat out of Oregon Inlet. 33hemi!
