I just can't take the city of Chicago seriously. They blame all of their misfortunes on barn yard animals. Second City.

I am good at math. I am a baseball fan who knows the game. Kris Bryant said he is satisfied because the Cubs were 4 runs away from being in the World Series. Can anybody figure out what he is talking about math wise or baseball wise? Must be a Joe Madden deep thinking rationale.

That must be it. He either got misquoted or just got caught up in the moment.

I can't figure what he is satisfied about. He must have a spot cleared for his participation trophy.

He is a rookie and doesn't realize this chance does not come often in this game....especially for Cubs players. See Ernie Banks. LOL

True, the cubs had some great teams that never made it. Hope the young Mets players realize the opportunity they now have and don't read their own press!

Clippard & Niese did their jobs from two guys who was bashed repeatedly, Strike Zone was inconsistent for both teams.... Grandy. was special, His throw home was strong & the kid running could have been out wishing he was as he did not slide ....TV coverage ( camera work ) all game long was really bad.

this was a test for DeGrom against a very HOT team, I did like the way he went about attacking batters , would give him an A for last nights performance , REMEMBER this is his 2nd year. Wright has to talk w/ his bat Ces. if he don't do well here ..think about not signing for the future. Still think Conforto is the better choice. I would spend my bucks on holding to d'Arnaud also .
