Default pleeze help!!

i am not a computer wiz,so bear with me.if u are on a web site like this one, and u want to contact them,u click on where is says "contact us", ok ,i click on that.up pops a blue microsoft box that says"outlook express 6" then another box pops up to e-mail from. but the e-mail adress "from" is incorect,it was ok,but all of asudden it has changed,de-faulted? i dont know. how do i change it to what its should be. i have gone thru all the help crap, and calling verizon didnt help.the e-mail adress is corect in my normal e-mails thru verizon, just not in that stupid little box. my next step is a .410 at the damm thing(a 12 gauge would be just to much).....................

Simplest way would be to copy the outgoing addy and paste it to the email program you normally use.

Joe, forget all that stuff. Just click on this link, bob.damico@stripersurf.com or if you want to contact Jim Freda enter
jimfreda@optonline.net

If your browser won't allow that simply enter the email addresses into the TO: section of a new email message.

Sounds like Outlook Express isn't set up properly on your system.
Are you using it for your normal email? Or are you using a web browser for your normal email?

Call Verizon back and tell them you need help to set up Outlook to work on there service.

Or

If you have a verizon cd run it again..

I don't use Outlook so I can't walk you through the set up.

Joe:
here's an example page on how to set up Outlook Express: http://products.secureserver.net/ema...ookexpress.htm

By "verizon dsl email", I'm going to assume you get to it via a web browser. That's not the same as Outlook Express so you'll have to go through some of those steps above. You probably have a mail account set up already, so you can probably edit the properties to change it (your "from" addr will be in the properties)...
