need a back up infielder with Wright needing time off; maybe it's a youngster but likely Tejada and Flores fill that role; now another outfield bat

Good pickups, not great, neither is a gold glove, watch Wilmer go to third.

Yanks don't look straight up on their trades, Starlin Castro SS ( which I thought they should have acquired 3 years ago ) agree ! . Far from over in the Bombers world ...wait & see . They need a TON of innings to make up for letting go Wilson & Warren about 97 of relief. To keep arms off the DL 6 man rotation is the new wave of pitching investments ...still don't like this pitching coach because the players don't also.

I'm not really seeing the fans running to 161 st. this season , As Its not over by a long shot in trades , cuffs are rolled up w/ contracts , They got us on high priced cable station fees already so I guess more commercial time in between innings.

Nationals signed Murphy. Didn't hear the price. Mets get Washington's first round pick for losing him.

37.5M is the rumor Bob, good for him, glad to see his glove go to a division rival

Murphy, the MVP of October’s National League Championship Series, agreed to a three-year deal with the Mets’ division rival late Thursday afternoon, according to industry sources. The contract is reported to be worth $37.5 million. The Nationals did not confirm the deal and Murphy did not reply to a message left for him.
