NCBBA?s 9th Annual Red Drum Tournament Final Results
There were 263 participants, in which 36 of these are also judges, competing for over $8,500.00 in cash & prizes. We had 2 Junior Anglers (under 16), 23 Female Anglers, 4 of which are seniors (over 65) and 63 Senior Male Anglers. They represent 14 different states. Allan Maly from Dallas, TX once again traveled the longest distance. Anglers began fishing at Midnight (12:01 A.M.)Thursday, October 25th. Fishing continued until noon on Saturday, October 28th.
Frank & Fran?s, Avon, NC with owners Stephanie & Randy Ryals and Heather & Tim James are once again the Tournament Headquarters.
The 10th and last Session ended with a flurry of fishing activity to end this year?s Red Drum Tournament.

Largest Overall Red Drum Nick Walke of Kill Devil Hills, NC has a 48.00 inch fish. 2nd Largest Overall Red Drum goes to Travis Kemp of Moyock, NC with a 47.75 inch fish.
Day #1 Largest Red Drum is Ron Meyer of Concord, NC with a 47.50 inch fish.
2nd Largest Red Drum is Travis Kemp with a 47.00 inch fish.
Day #2 Largest Red Drum is Logan Sheriff of Hatters, NC with a 47.75 inch fish.
2nd Largest Red Drum is Nick Walke of Kill Devil Hills, NC with a 46.25

After 3 Days and 10 Six Hour Sessions of fishing, there were 120 Red Drum caught of which 20 are over 40.00 inches! 2 Yearlings (30-39 inches) and 99 Puppy Drum have been measured and all released alive!
